Vehicle Donations
Help support KCME’s programs and services by donating a vehicle that you no longer need. KCME’s vehicle donation program handles the details at no charge to you. We accept cars, trucks, RVs, motorcycles, boats and planes, plus you can get rid of an unwanted vehicle with no hassle or expense! Sustaining Membership
As listener-supported public radio, KCME 88.7 FM relies on a steady stream of financial support from the very people who love it—so we’re asking for your help to provide that stream by becoming a monthly Sustainer.
Sustaining Membership automatically renews — which means you pick an amount to give each month— $10, $20 or more–keeping your support current month after month, year after year. It’s the easiest way to manage your support of KCME 88.7 FM.
KCME sustaining donations can also be made by electronic funds transfers (EFT). EFT is the best way for both the station and for you. We don’t have to pay credit card fees and you don’t have to worry about expiring credit cards. Please give us a call at 719.578.5263 at your earliest convenience to update your information.
Tax Refund Giving
You can support KCME through your Colorado Tax Return. Enter our registration number for Cheyenne Mountain Public Broadcast House on the Voluntary Contributions Schedule of your Colorado Individual Income Tax Return: 20033007025. Learn more here.
Donor Advised Funds (DAF)
Support beautiful music with a contribution from your DAF. Direct a distribution to KCME at 1921 N Weber St Colorado Springs, CO 80907. Please let us know whom to thank by including your name and address with your gift. For more information, contact us here.
Individual Retirement Account (IRA)
If you are 70 ½ or older you may be able to transfer funds from your IRA to KCME without paying any federal income tax. Simply direct a charitable distribution to KCME, 1921 N Weber St Colorado Springs, CO 80907. Please include your name and address with your gift so we can send you a tax receipt. Tax-Sheltered Accounts: Giving by QCD’s
If you are seventy and a half years old and have a tax-sheltered investment, consider making qualified chartiable distributions, AKA QCD’s, to KCME. Donations that go directly from your financial institution to KCME are not taxed! Consult your financial advisor and learn how flexible and easy it is to support the musoic that you love and…save money on your income taxes.
Ask Your Employer to Match your Gift
Make your contribution to KCME go even further at no cost to you. The company you work for, or are retired from, may match your gift dollar for dollar or more.

Donated securities come to us anonymously and are sold after receipt. Let us know of your incoming stock gift so we can send a receipt for your tax purposes. For more information, contact us here.
King Sooper’s Community Rewards
Now you can donate to your favorite station by simply buying groceries! A digital account is needed to participate in King Soopers Community Rewards. If you already have a digital account, simply link your Shopper’s Card to your account so that all transactions apply toward the organization you choose.
Once your Shopper’s Card is linked to your digital account, simply visit: https://www.kingsoopers.com/account/communityrewards/ and search either “Cheyenne Mountain Public Broadcast House” or our NPO number: KR769.
Now, every time you swipe your Shopper’s Card on your weekly grocery trips, you’ll be helping us bring the community more of the music you love!
Purchases will not count for our organization until after you register your loyalty card. Participants must swipe their registered King Soopers or City Market loyalty card or use the phone number that is related to their registered King Soopers or City Market loyalty card when shopping for each purchase to count.
