Development and Marketing Director
I am a lifetime participant in the arts. As a former arts educator and operations director of a small retail business, development and marketing were prevalent in both of my former roles. I have a BFA in Musical Theatre and a BA in English from the University of Michigan, along with secondary teaching certificates in English, Speech and Theatre, and a MA in Educational Leadership from San Diego State University.
The Development and Marketing Director position at KCME and Jazz 93.5 allows me to bring a new perspective to the work, to use many of my skills and to be challenged in a new industry. I enjoy working in an environment that provides people with musical and artistic experiences and ultimately brings them joy. It is satisfying to serve the community, to provide enrichment, and to foster the spirit of giving in our listeners.
Originally hailing from Michigan, by way of Las Vegas and San Diego, I have since lived in Colorado Springs for over 20 years. I love the Colorado sunshine and the beauty of the mountains, going on long walks with my dog, and attending concerts and arts events. I am dedicated to fitness, eating well and mindfulness.

Leslie may not be the person at the station to curate playlists, but she does know how to target the right audience to tune in to your business or nonprofit organization. She believes that great sponsor partnerships start with trust, some humor and actually listening to her client’s needs. Born and raised in West L.A., but a Coloradan now for more than half of her life, Leslie has worked in both commercial radio and public radio sales for over 16 years.
While Leslie isn’t trying desperately to beat her partner at Scrabble (he almost always wins), she is building strong sponsor relationships through honest communication, and a simple, straightforward approach- minus the fluff and hard sell.
Proudest accomplishment: Leslie’s two super smart and beautiful daughters. Biggest regret: That Las Vegas wrist tattoo back in 2007
